Hello community experts,

I have build a cds power app which is a copy of similar app on azure ad, share point, o365 etc

Now the new app copy is completely created on cds by deletting old connections

I shared this app with different user

When i try to log in as different user, it is asking for old connections even after me keeping only cds and outlook - which is required.

How do i resolve this issue

kindly guide

Best regards

Sumaira

    Hi @Sumaira ,

Here is a workaround, hope this helps.

Export the app from power apps, comes down as a compressed folder (zip), extract the contents of the compressed folder (zip).

In the root of the folder you will find a "manifest.json" in there is a "dependsOn":[] section, simply remove the unwanted parts.

Then under --> Microsoft.PowerApps --> apps --> {someID} --> {someID}.json . Open up the json file and look for the section

"connectionReferences":{} again remove the unwanted parts, I removed all the connections.

Then save the modified files back the folder with the same names, then making sure the manifest.json file and Microsoft.PowerApps folder are in root, compress(zip) the folder back down.

Import/Upload the compressed folder (zip) back into power apps.

    Hi @Sumaira ,

OK, still the same issue. How about this?

After removing the unwanted connections, click Save As and store into local as XYZ.msapp instead of exporting into a package. Then import the .msapp into PowerApps and it will eliminate the removed connections.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi @Sumaira ,

Even the owner of App can't open the app in PowerApps Studio for editing?  Was it possible before?

If so, please try rolling back your app to the previous version so that it can be edited in Studio, and then try the above workaround.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi @Sumaira ,

You aren't able to edit, open, export the app, it's really tricky.

I would suggest you request Microsoft for further help.
