Hello everyone,
My team has created a powerapp/flow process for our company. In this process there is a standalone powerapp that is a form to fill out and submit some information. When the form is submitted it then kicks off a flow that sends out information via email.
We created this flow using the company automation email account. However we have found that, even though this email is used to build the flow, the emails are coming from the user that filled out the form.
It seems, from the other posts on this site, that many have the opposite issue. They want to send emails from the user or from an automated email, when instead it sends from the creator of the flow.
We attempted to be proactive and avoid this issue by creating this flow with the automation email account. All steps requiring a data connection are connected to our SPWorkflow automation account. However we have run into the opposite issue.
In addition, we are aware of the masking option (the send from line in advanced options) in flow, however this solution will not work due to permission issues. Emails With Options (which are present in our flow) also do not even support the masking feature.
Any suggestions/solutions?
Thank you for your time,
Brandon
