How do I bypass PowerApps V2 Trigger limit of 19 pieces

Hello,

I am trying to create a button, that would take selected values in Sharepoint List X, and create an item in Sharepoint List Y.

The V2 Trigger was working well, until I hit the 19 piece limit.

I'm trying to find a work around that would allow me to move approx. 38 pieces, I read something about using Concatenate & Split, but I'm not familiar.

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Power-Automate/Issue-Powerapps-V2-trigger-input-limitation-is-19-pieces/td-p/1335757

Does that sound right to anyone else? Which connectors would be used, where would these formula's go?

thank you.

    Hi @JeffT2022 ,

You could pass an object form canvas app to flow:

1\I assume there is an object

    Set(TheObject,{Value1:1,Vlaue2:"sdf",Value3:"sdfasdf"})

    2\flow(flow1)

    3\Trigger the flow

    Flow1.Run(JSON(TheObject))

    Best Regards,

    Bof

    Thank you!

I'm still new to Json, but I will give this a shot.

I was able to get this to work with concatenating the many numeric fields into a string then splitting the outputs into variables.

@JeffT2022 have you created a word doc with the variable outputs? because if i every output generated in power automate returns blank in my word doc

Hello @bloempotje - yes I was able to get the word doc (docx) to work. I'm not sure why your variables are showing up blank, it could be a formatting issue, I had issues with that as well.

Here is a good tutorial that I watched to help me through the process:

hi guys, im getting some weird returns from the input in my flow.

so within the parse json all the info is being returned in as output. the variable data is coming in etcetc. but then one compose trigger has input and output and the other has one. where the scheme is exactly the same

i hoping someone knows whats up

    thanks in advance

How exactly are the objects from the parse Json function going into the compose function?
Does each input have its own compose function, or do they all go into one?

    Hi Hannah,

how i’ve made it work was indeed via a single compose function per input. I couldnt find another way

Edit the flow in PowerAutomate canvas, not within the flow editor of any application like PowerApps canvas --PowerApps for example limits to 19 but you can keep adding as many items as you want in the PowerAutomate flow canvas editor. Edit in PowerAutomate, then wherever you're using the flow like PowerApps go into the App and refresh the flow, save the app and republish.
