visual studio team services connector needs to be a bit more to be useful.
It needs a seach action so that it does not depend on the id.
When updaing a a work item more options should be available or at lest status or some custom fields up to the user.

Do you mean that you need a search action to get the item that you want update?
And when update an item, you need more available options or some custom fields.
