Hi,

I know that there is a delay with Dataverse records being updated outside of the portal and seeing the changes in the portal (up to 15 minutes I believe).

Has there been any recent improvements on this?

Is there any tricks that can be employed so that users do not have to wait that long?

It is by design so don't expect any change - the SLA is 15 mins, but will usually occur a lot quicker. In the old days you used to be able to push your data up to the portal cache, but this was 'redesigned' by MSFT.

If you absolutely have to break the cache you need to make your queries (when they are made) unique to force it to pull from dataverse (e.g. in Liquid fetchxml in the filter condition you can use tings like CreatedOn less than now() with the output of the now date formatted down to seconds).

Will this work when you've got an entity list on the page that you want to be refreshed?

Probably not, you would need to build the List in Liquid and/or using the Web API yourself.

I think that if you update one of the items in the list (say from the click of a button and refresh the page) then the list is updated.
