Sending an email when a new row is added to excel

Hi Team,

I want to build a power flow where an email can be sent out when there is a new row added in excel. Looks like this functionality is not available with Microsoft yet. Any ideas on the workaround?

Here is a workaround that triggers on changes to the Excel workbook & returns any records for rows that were created, modified, or deleted:

This trigger will be more than welcome (and useful)

It has been over a year. Is this trigger to start a flow when a new row is added to an excel table not available yet?

    Hi, Tanya
You may try to use the trigger ``when a file is modified``. It may not give the exact solution in your case. But you could build such a flow that you will receive an email when a file is modified.

or Using a SharePoint list would be an alternative way to get an email when a new item added, as Anna mentioned.

    Regards,

    Serbay

Hello @Anonymous , currently trigger to start a flow when new row is added to excel, is not available, probably you could try using SharePoint List instead of excel?
