I am a new user of Power Automate and trying to build a flow where a new Forms entry will generate a Word document, Pdf document, email notification and email reminder.
When trying to build this flow I am encountering some problems I was hoping someone could help me with:
I can't find the Word and PDF applications in the overview of actions (even though I do have access to excel, teams, outlook and sharepoint). (This question is already answered below)
When sending an automated email I can't see the option to choose to send the email from a specific inbox (the “from: option), I can only select to whom the email gets send and it automatically uses the email connected to my 365 account. We want the email to be send from a general inbox, is this possible?
When using the condition "delay until" I want to select a date that was filled in the original form as the timestamp (because the reminder should be send on the end date of the project that the person filled into the form). Power Automate says this is not a UTC time stamp that can be used, how can I establish this?
Is there any way to also send a reminder when a person fails to fill-in the form at all? As this step is happening before the initial trigger (new entry in the form) I was wondering how to approach this. The reminder that you can activate in the Forms application itself is of no help because this only works after someone already opened the form and started filling it in but didn’t complete it. I need to send an automated reminder after the link of the form is send through email and the person didn't complete it within two weeks regardless if they opened the form.
Both are premium actions which may be why you don't see them unless you have a per user license:
Searching for the actions can definitely be tricky. Try switching back and forth between the new and old designer if you cannot find it in one. The delay actions are also available. I just type delay when I search for them:
