There is no way to do that without using any activities. You need an activity to get it. Either the Get current date time action, or some alternative workarounds similar to those that @MichaelAnnis . You could also use Run Python script, Run VBscript, Run PowerShell script, Run .NET script, Run DOS command, Run JavaScript, or even an Execute SQL statement (if you have a SQL database you could use for that) to get the current date and time. Would still require at least one activity to get it.
