Excel as trigger? - Shift Sharing Solution

I am very new to Power Automate and am working on my first project.  My idea is to have a simple excel spreadsheet for shift sharing, where one user can put in their needed date of coverage, the type of coverage they need (dropdown), and then send a Teams message to let the team know they have coverage dates coming up.  Then, if someone puts their name in the Accepted field (dropdown), a calendar appointment is triggered to the Acceptor to put their coverage on their personal calendar and our shared calendar.

I'm not sure how to run the flow to check for the Acceptor field and only have it run once for each Acceptor that's entered or changed.  I was looking into creating a hidden timestamp status change field for the Acceptor field, and only have the appointment triggered if the status field was changed less than one minute ago.

Any ideas on this?  Thank you!

    Hi @KC13

i don't see any trigger for excel which can trigger when excel row is created /changed. Else another idea would to use a SharePoint list instead , That would help you to design based on triggers when item is created/modified.

    Thanks & Regards,
