Display List of Text Inputs Based Upon Dropdown Choice

Hi,

I'm new to PowerApps, so apologies in advance for such a basic question. I'm creating a race timing app for an athletics club just as a test project to learn PowerApps.

The first page is for configuring the race setup and I have three dropdown lists; Race Length (100m, 400m, etc), Number of Splits (0, 1, 2, etc) and Number of Athletes (1-10). Once these choices are confirmed, I want the next page to show a text input to type in the name of each athlete. So if on the first screen I chose 6 athlete's, 6 text input boxes would show.

On the second screen I've currently created 10 text input boxes and my question is, how do I filter this to show only the number of items for the number of athletes chosen on the first screen?

Creating a gallery
items you can give : Sequence(urathletedropdown.selected.value)
in gallery you can add textbox

Hi, thanks a lot for your quick response. Can you just clarify how to use this please?

I've added a gallery along with a text input item. I then selected an item and added the following function: Sequence(ddAthletes.selected.value)

ddAthletes is the name of my dropdown.

I've got a location error saying TextInput3.Default.

Any ideas? I'm sure it's something very simple.

i asked you to do this for gallery items: Sequence(ddAthletes.selected.value)

you are doing for texbox default.

Really appreciate you replying, but still not able to get it working unfortunately. I'll just keep searching and trying new things out.
