Visibility dependent on an item/button having being clicked

Hello,

I am trying to do something really simple and struggling.

I need a simple tick icon to appear if a button has been clicked.

(the button navigates the user to a different page. The user will then come back to the original page) This is when I want the tick to appear. I thought I would be able to do this based on a button being pressed but am stuck...

On the button 'OnSelect' Property: UpdateContext({TickVisible:true}) ; Navigate(yourscreen,none)

On the tick Image/icon 'Visible' Property: TickVisible

Hi Sam,

thank you for your help.

My visiblity doesn't seem to like TickVisible 😞

Do I Name the icon "TickVisible" and am getting confused? If so, what do i set the visibilty of the icon too?

You need to set the Visible property of the icon to the name of the context variable you specified on the onselect property of your button.

You may be seeing the squiglly red line under the "tickvisible" in your icons visibility property if you have not created the context varible on the button before hand.

Hi Sam,

this is PERFECT thank you!

It wasn't working still and then I realised you had put the navigate part of the formula after. So once I swapped it round it worked fine.
