I'm encountering an issue where the avatars for all copilots created are not displaying correctly. It seems that the problem lies in the dimension of the image in the webchat__min-height--image-bubble variable inside the <div>:

Currently, the webchat__min-height--image-bubble is set to 240px, and I believe it needs to be reduced to at least 40px for the image to display correctly within the bubble.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue or adjust the height for the avatars to display properly?

Hello everyone,

I'm still encountering an issue with the avatars for all copilots. After some testing, I exported the image in a 40x240 format, restricting the avatar to the first 40 pixels. While this made the avatar appear, it clearly looks distorted in the Copilot panel, indicating that there may be an internal programming issue with Copilot Studio itself.

Here's a summary of the problem:

The variable webchat__min-height--image-bubble is set to 240px, but the image only displays properly when confined to the first 40px, causing a distortion.

I manually adjusted the image size to 40x240, but this doesn't seem like a proper solution since the distortion remains.

It seems like there might be a programming oversight in how Copilot Studio handles image dimensions. Does anyone have insight into whether this is a known issue or how to resolve it internally?

Hi,

Have you tried this,

The recommended aspect ratio for avatars in bots is 1:1 (square). PNG is often preferred due to its support for transparency. Keep the file size around 30 KB to ensure fast loading times. Compress the image if necessary, but avoid excessive compression, as it can reduce quality.

Having this issue as well, I am luckily just demoing a solution at this time, but it definitely needs to be fixed if this were to be used on a production site.

Can you try uploading a new image with the support format and size.

After updating your copilot's icon, it may take up to 24 hours for the new icon to appear everywhere.
