Running flow through Teams returns error

A little while ago I created a flow to approve files being sent to a SharePoint document library.  When running the Flow through the web client, it works perfectly fine.  I also added the Flow to a widget in Teams and whenever it is run through that, it returns the error claiming that locational data needs to be turned on to function.  I have checked all Windows and Teams related settings. Locational data is turned on in all of them.  This isn't an isolated problem either, everyone else in the building seems to be getting the same error.  Along with this, ever since attempting to run this Flow, Teams sometimes randomly crashes.  It seems to be incredibly sporadic. To make matters stranger, other members of the same company, using the same company laptops, but at a different location don't seem to be having any issues at all.  They can run the Flow sucessfuly and are having no problems with crashes.  If anyone has encountered this bug before, I would love any information you could give me on what a potential fix is.  I have included a screenshot of the error message in this post.

    The Flow is launched as a manual button, which does collect a lot of information from the user, including location.  I do not actually use any location data in the flow though.  I've gone on web browsers and google maps and they all get my location fine.  I'm not sure if being through a web browser would make a difference or not.  I've also set my default location in Windows but that doesnt seem to have worked either.  The device does not have any GPS at all to my knowledge, as all the users are running off laptops.

    Well I went home and tested the flow from there and it still was not working.  This makes me believe that the problem is not on our local network but instead something related to my specific hardware.  For reference, I'm running on a Dell Latitude E7440.  I'm not sure what the users at our other location are using but it does appear that they are still not having any issues.  There was a third user at a third location that also received an error message as well, not sure what hardware he is using either.  I do know that all the devices are Dell laptops, I'm just not sure what excact model most of them are.

    Thanks for help

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Could you share more details on your flow?

    According to your description, I have created a flow in Flow under Teams. It is triggered by a button, followed with an approval action.

    However, the issue you mentioned doesn’t occur. No error message returned.

    You mentioned that a different location doesn’t seem to have any issues at all, what’s the location that the flow is working?

    In addition, what’s your location?

    Please take another try with it, if the issue still exists, please feel free post back with more details.

    Best regards,

    Mabel

    @Anonymous

    That's weird.  Is there any part of the Flow where the location is relevant?

    For science...maybe try finding an app that will show the perceived location of the device...I suspect it's not picking something up when it errors out.

    If nothing comes up, maybe find an app that spoofs a location and run the flow with that.  If that works, I'd lean towards a hardware issue with the GPS on the device.

    Just a thought.
