Icon not clickable in nested gallery

Hi All,

I have created a calendar using a nested gallery that pulls the events on a each day from a SharePoint list. I want to click an icon on the event, in the nested gallery, and have it navigate to a new screen with a form relating to the event. However, the icon is not clickable and I am unsure why.

    Is there any overlap? As in, another control is laying on top of the control you're trying to click, hence its blocked
