If statement with true value using a combobox input

I am trying to make an if statement for an input field. 

 

If a variable is blank, refer to the value of a combo box, else refer to the variable selected (from gallery). Can't seem to get it to work.

    Coalesce(varIdea.RequestByName, ComboBox1.Selected.Value)

    No need for If().
