Power Automate Desktop can't insert functions in excel. Error: hresult: 0x800a03ec

I'm working on a Desktop Flow that inserts data in one Excel Worksheet, but, when I try to insert functions just like "=HYPERLINK(arg*,arg*)" it returns the "hresult: 0x800a03ec" error (Works nice when I manually write the function). I've searched for more info but I couldn't reach to the solution. Is there a way to resolve it?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Lucas_Eduardo

    Which actions are you inserting the functions?

    I've used "Activate cell in Excel worksheet" to select a singular cell followed by "Send keys" with a delay of 1ms and sending the text like this %CurrentFormula%{Return}

    This works fine if you're doing a few inserts here and there.

    Its working as expected.

    Can you share what you are writing to that cell.

    One thing to note, depending on your Excel settings check if comma , or semi colon ; is the valid character in formulas and type accordingly.

    It's important to note that you need to use comma as an argument separator when using Excel formulas in PADs "Write to Excel worksheet" action.

    For example: using the argument separator ";" which is used in Sweden instead of "," (as shown in @VJR s image) will result in HRESULT: 0x800a03ec

    Switching it to "," and it will output your local regional formatting in Excel

    Correct, that is exactly what I wanted to convey in the bold text above 😀
