On Delete event in Model Drive Apps

Hi there,

I'm building a Model-Driven App and cannot find the "OnDelete" event in form events. There are "OnSave" and "OnLoad," but no "OnDelete." I'd like to instantly determine whether a user can proceed based on some field values on the form. Am I missing something, or are there any alternative ways? Thanks a lot.

When exactly shoud the check be made? When the user presses the delete button?

As there is no onDelete handler that can be registered, I would try a different approach.

Using the XrmToolBox Ribbon Workbench
Ribbon Workbench 2016 · XrmToolBox
you will be able to add Display Rules to the delete button. I would check the entity fields that need to contain a specific value and only display the delete button if the values are available.
