Hiding web page from Authenticate Users and allowing Anonymous Users to access it

Hello,

I have a requirement to allow access to a web page to Anonymous Users but once any users logged-in then restrict access to that page or logged-in users. I tried with Web Role but it didn't work. Is anyone implement this or know the solution for it?

Is this a Portal question. If so asking it at the portal section may help you get a quicker solution.

Do you want to hide a web page in your Portal for the Authenticate Users and allow Anonymous Users to access it?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, I think the "Web Page Access Control Rules" functionality could achieve your needs.

On your side, you could consider create a "Web Page Access Control Rules" based on the specific web page in your Portal setting:

then click "Save" button to save this rule. Then go to the "Web Roles" tab, then click "Add existing web roles" option, and search the "Anonymous Users" web role and add it:

After that, edit your Portal, then click the "Sync Configuration" option to make the changes you made in your Portal Setting take effect:

then click "Browse website" button to publish your portal.

Thanks for reply.

I tried the given solution. But its hiding the page from anonymous users also. It don't work.
I already done some experiment with Authenticated and Anonymous Users Role after that I post this query.

Hi @AR19 ,

Have you assigned the "Authenticated Users" Role to specific contact registered within your Portal?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I think the "Web Page Acccess Control Rule" feature could achieve your needs. Please make sure you have assigned the "Authenticated Users" Role to specific contact registered within your Portal, so when this specific contact sign in your Portal, he would be not able to access this web page.

Note: Please make sure the sign in user is not the Owner of this web page, otherwise, the above configuration may not take effect. You could consider ask your other contacts to sign in your Portal, check if the issue is solved.

In addition, please make sure you have clicked "Sync Configuration" button within your Portal to apply the changes you made within your Portal setting.

As an alternative solution, you could also consider apply custom javascript code within the Web page in your Portal setting, then use the javascript code to hide current web page based on the current sign in user.
