Failed Flow - Run After not allowed

i want to send an alert if a flow fails and this post says use "run after" to do that https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/error-handling/  

 

but when i try FLOW says  "Cannot configure run after on an action directly following a trigger"

 

so what do i do?

    Hi @ StephenM,

     

    Configure steps to directly run after the failure of a trigger is not supported in Microsoft Flow currently.

    The error says you couldn’t configure steps to directly run after the failure of a trigger.

    Are you want to configure run after the failure of a trigger?

     

    You could consider defining steps to run after the failure of an action.
