Receipt Processor on Canvas App: cannot attach existing files

Dear experts,

I'm using a Receipt Processor control on a mobile canvas app and the "Attach Receipt" button directly invokes the device camera, making impossible to attach any existing file like for example a PDF. I was under the assumption that you would be given the option to access the native camera/gallery selector of the device.

Any ideas? I tested in three different phones from three different vendors, all Android phones.

Hi @db4rc3 ,

The camera will only ever allow image files. If you use an attachment control however, it will allow you to take a photo as well as attach other file types (Android has a Browse option)

I'm using the AI Builder Receipt Processor control, that supposedly allows you both attaching an existing file and taking a picture with the device camera. In fact, that's the default behaviour from what I've seen, but for whatever reason, something is messed up with the device's permissions and when you use the Receipt Processor control and select the camera one time when given the option instead of attaching an existing file, the next time it does not give you the option to choose.

Sorry, have no idea what a Receipt Processor AI generated function does. My apps are all human-created.
