Is it possible to send conditional/dynamic automated approvals, using PowerAutomate, based upon field selections on a MS Form?

Hello, I'm after a bit of advice and support about a solution I've recently configured for colleagues in my company.

The solution comprises of:

  • 3x MS Forms to collate responses from third-party suppliers
  • 3x MS Lists for the data to be stored
  • 3x automated approvals, using PowerAutomate, for the responses from the suppliers to be reviewed and either approved, which then creates the entry in MS Lists, or rejected.

One of the questions I've had is whether the automated approvals could be sent to certain individuals, based upon certain values being selected on the MS Form. For example, one of the questions on the MS Form is "Genre", which has a number of radio button choices. The team would like it if "Sport" was selected that the approval went to the head of Sport for review. I think it might be possible through the dynamic fields in PowerAutomate and/or using logic or a formula, but not sure where to start.

Any pointers and guidance would be much appreciated.

    Hi @SteCoxy ,

You could create a SP list to store the emails of the approvers corresponding to "Genre", filter the corresponding items by the value selected by Form Genre in "Get items", and select dynamic content for the approvers in the approval. I have test for your reference, please try the following workaround:
