Clear Selected Drop Down Value if another drop down value is changed

Hi,

I have the following 2 drop down fields. I would like to clear option type value when the order type option is changed. However, my following settings do not work. I would like to ask where is going wrong with it.

- Order Type (OnChange -->Reset(DEOptionValue))

- Option Type (Default --> Parent.Default, Reset --> false)

Hi @thgtang

When you use Reset, the value of the object goes back to its default. If your default value is something other than clear, it will never change to a blank value.
You should also check if the propiety AllowEmptySelection of your drop down is set to true.

Thanks for your comment. Do you mean i need to set the default value to "" ? or other value as I tried "", it seems not work.

I have already set the AllowEmptySelection to true.

Can you show me the OnChange code from Order Type and the Default from Option type?
