Problem with switch not reading my 'equals' parameter

Hi everyone,

I have a flow that has been working correctly for some time. I have a switch that reads off department names (selected from a form) for each case and i recently had to change the wording of one of the department names. It now doesn't read this department name and defers to default.

I have checked that the department name on the form and the department name enter into 'equals' on the switch case are the same and they are - no spaces at the end of the name etc.

Is there a reason this would happen. I'm fairly new to Power Automate and I don't know how to test it without triggering the flow to send emails out to everyone, is that possible?

Many thanks

Anna

    Hello @A_Wilc

Never experienced that but what I can suggest :

    Add a new case Value

Do not copy / paste the value, be sure to write it manually

Copy all the action from the old one

    Delete the old one

    Test
