Handling Interruption in "Ask a question with Adaptive Card"

Hello Everyone,

I am facing an issue with handling interruption in copilot studio topic.
In bot, I have the default topics like greeting, GoodBye, Escalate, 2 custom topics (topic 1 and topic 2) with phrases, and conversational boosting.
In Custom Topic1, I am showing an adaptive card using "Ask with adaptive card" option.

User can enter in text and the adaptive card text box and submit OR click on cancel button,
The problem comes when Users ignores the adaptive card and types something in chat's text box.

I am trying to achieve below scenarios but failing to:
If the query entered in textbox matches a topic it should go to the topic (based on phrases)
And If there is no topic triggered, It should go to OnUnknown Intent (Conversational Boosting Topic or Fallback Topic).
Currently with above configuration its behaving very randomly, And i have no control on the flow.

I have the same question (0)

    Thankyou @SandeepAngara for your comment.
I have already gone through you said post along with other post of similar topic.
AND I have already tried this.

After implementing all the steps in Skip adaptive card if user hasn't clicked submit button Microsoft copilot studio.

the interruption is working fine when the user query matches any custom topics with phrases.

but its not working when userquery does not matches any topic and should go to "OnUnknown Intent" (i.e. Conv boosting or Fallback).

copilot does not respond only with anything.

    Got it!!
The solution is to customize "Escalate" topic

This is because, we don't have an option to select Conversation Boosting topic in the list of interrupted topics in the adaptive card properties.

You can work this out as below:

    1. Go to Escalate topic
    2. Add a "Create generative answers" node (Ad node > Advanced > Create generative answers)
    3. Input the System variable "Activity.Text" to this action.
    4. Remove the default message node, that says "Escalating to an agent"

    Here's the screenshot.

Please mark this as a verified solution, if this worked for you.

    Thank you.
    Sandeep Angara.

    @sandeep_angara Thanks!!!.

    This works like a charm!

I had escalate topic disabled because it wasnt necessary for our copilot.
Also a little strange behavior, Any Idea on what thing is making copilot to go to Escalate topic in this particular scenario.
