Hi all,

Today is 16-Aug-2021 and it is 04:50 AM. I have an issue that has come up in the last 7 days. I have a PAD program that I run weekly. Last week, everything was fine. This week, I found that the program is failing in 1 particular line.

This problem is being experienced ONLY in Firefox. Something in Firefox is breaking the code. 😞

Would be interested in hearing from others who have faced the same problem.

I am putting all the details down here.

It should be mentioned that the prerequisites for Windows Automate Desktop include the following:

So its not surprising that there might be compatibility issues with Firefox.  I would stick to using Edge or Chrome for Web Automation.

    Thank you for this.

I have moved my most critical Flow from Firefox to Edge. That has helped me.

Now I have to move a whole set of other Flows from Firefox to Edge, which is going to be painful but I guess I have to do it !! 🙂

When I look for the Root Cause as to how I got into this mess, I can only say it was because of my ego. Since I am a fan of Firefox, familiar with it and heavily invested into it, I went ahead and used Firefox in PAD. I should have taken cognizance of the fact that PAD recommended Edge and go down that path !!

    Thanks again.
