Populate a microsoft word template - New field not shown on Automate

Hi Team,

I had created a template populated all the fields from Automate. later on I had to add a new field to the template as shown below.

I am not able to get that field on Automate . All other fields are there but this new field is not shown. Tried logging out and In . I think I am missing something here. Appreciate any help/support .

Sometimes this gets back to the cache on your browser not wanting to reload the word template. Try renaming the file on your computer and then replace the word doc wherever you keep it with a new name. Then load the file with a new name. That will force your browser to have to reload the template and capture the new fields.

I ran into this issue too, and couldn't find a solution. However, for me it turned out I was using Rich Text Box in the word template. When I switched the new field to a Plain Text Box, voila, it showed up in Power Automate to populate.

Hi @ms_flow

Please try to delete the populated field in the word document and try again. Sometimes it will take some time to reflect in the PA flow.

I had this same issue with my web browser not wanting to reload the word template. A hard refresh (F5) of the page worked perfectly and I did not need to modify the document name.

I have the same problem.
I have tried build a complete new flow, make a copy of word document with new name, F5 refresh, etc. All solution not work.
It only works when I added new field as plain text (instead of rich text).
