Flow Action - Convert Word Document to PDF

There seems some serious glitch in using the Microsoft premium connector "Convert Word Document to PDF". I am surprised no one from the concerned team has made a comment on it yet.

The create file is supposed to create the file and the subsequent action "Convert Word Document to PDF" should be able to get the "File" from dynamic content. That seems not the case. File name needs to be hard coded. Many videos in YouTube too didnt highlight this problem. Do we have solution for this?

A long discussion happened here

I gave out and switch to Plumsail, more features pretty much same price but definitely stable. and EASY code

    Hi @RameshMukka

Try to use the action Convert file (preview) or Convert file using path (preview) to convert the file from one format to another using the identifier or file path.

@sudharsan1985 you mean after populating Microsoft Word Document Template use One Drive actions to solve this issue?

    Hi @RameshMukka

Yes, once you have created the file, try to use either of the actions mentioned to convert the document. Give it a try and let us know if you have any issues.

@sudharsan1985 Sure I would try that? But going to one drive is because we don't have similar actions for SharePoint? Also the dynamic field File Identifier in Onedrive action is helping here to input file dynamically for conversion? I really wish we have similar actions in SharePoint as well. I really don't see a point making this Word Connector a premium when itself is not able to do the functionality its intended to do.

@sudharsan1985 My requirement being the reason I was using Word Online connectors. I have a Word template to populate gallery record and then convert it to pdf using Word Connector. I was aware of the steps you mentioned, how can I use them for my need?
