Hi All,

I have two flow 1st is for New Document and 2nd is for Update Document. I want trigger condition for 2nd flow.

I want like second flow will run only when in 1st flow Document is Approved/Rejected because user can update Document only when Document is Approved/rejected.

Please help me for trigger condition in updated flow.

Are you using the approval mechanism built into flow currently or is the approval/rejection some other process?

If it's the approval built into flow you can have the start and wait for approval, nothing will run until approval is given or rejected. After which you can have two branches based on an approval outcome and a rejection outcome

Hi @srduval I am using approval action but want I is 2nd flow will only trigger when in 1st flow Approval Status will Approve/Reject.
I want to put one trigger cond in my 2nd flow so it will trigger only if he meets

It can all be in one flow, other than having the first flow start a second flow, I don't think you can do what you want to do. You can have all the first flow do everything you need in terms of notification to the second user that the document was approved/rejected.

hi @srduval
If my requirement is if user start the flow then send for approval action and if approval whose part of approval group start document then directly update status.
with this if already uploaded document is modified then same if modified user is normal user then send for approval else if its from approval group approve directly .
Issue:
I have some required columns in sp library so when I upload file then I need to fill that required columns due to which 2 times its triggering e.g when I upload document in backend its starting flow and when I fill the required column again flow is start as we modified

please help me to solve

Can you post a screenshot of what columns you have that are being updated? Documents modified doesn't support a trigger condition, but if these fields are included in your metadata (get file properties metadata or get file properties, then you could have a condition statement that stops the flow run based on the value found in those columns
