I have a form in pdf format with input fields, which after merging results with missing data.
If I try to merge the pdf's with another application, it works (PDFsam Basic).
The action Merge PDF Files has problems ?

PAD version: 2.35.159.23221

It's not that the action itself has problems. It simply is not designed to handle PDF forms. I would suggest saving a copy of the form without editable fields and then doing the merge. You can usually do that by printing the file to a PDF printer. Alternatively use scripting to do it.

I did another test and saw that some fields in the form are ok after merging, so it seems that it can handle PDF forms, but not all fileds.

I have several pdf's to merge and only 1 or 2 are pdf forms. So printing all the pdf's to a PDF printer it's not a solution for me. These pdf forms can't be identified by name so that only they are sent to the pdf printer.

Well, it is likely the only available solution. You either need to live with the idea of sending all those documents to a PDF printer before you merge them, or re-engineer your process so that the documents are named differently, so you can identify the forms that need to go through the PDF printer.
