Power Automate Cannot find excel table when new file loaded on sharepoint library

Hi,

I have a flow that triggers when new file is saved in the sharepoint library (replaced the old one - same name).

Basically, I am supposed to get table values from the file and update the list.

However, it's not able to find the table. It does the first time, but when a new file is replaced with old one in sharepoint library I get below error in the flow so I have to relink the table again in the flow for it to work.

If you know the name of the table, you can enter the table name as a custom value. Should work fine then.

Alternatively, you can use the get tables connector and then get the table name as dynamic content from that

I also faced this issue - here is the fix

When you specify the table within the "List Rows Present In Table" action in Flow, select the Custom option in the Table property and just type in the exact name of the table in excel - this forces the action to uses the table name not the GUID for the table name.
If you delete and replace the excel file, the flow will still work as long as you have the same table name within Excel
DO NOT SELECT THE NAME FROM THE TABLE DROPDOWN or it wont work (it will use a guid rather than the table name)
I lost countless hours of sleep before I discovered this trick

Hello , I open the custom option and type the name of my table, but when I do "ok" a receive a message saying that is invalid, in dynamic and expression . How did you do this?
