List Files in a folder.

I have been using list files in a folder in OneDrive for Business for years now.  And now all of a sudden, I get this error.

The API 'onedriveforbusiness' returned an invalid response for workflow operation 'List_files_in_folder' of type 'OpenApiConnection'. Error details: 'The API operation 'ListFolderV2' requires the property 'body' to be of type 'Object' but is of type 'Array'.'

I have even tried using just a simple flow to test.

I haven't changed anything.  That I know of.

Did something else change I'm not aware of?

Thanks
Chip

    What value do you have in the Folder input field for the List files in folder action? Did you select the folder directly from the picker, or are you passing it through a variable/dynamic value?

    Also, have you tried removing that List files in folder step and adding it again, either in the same flow or in a new flow (for a test)?

    Thanks!

    Subscribing to this post - I've seen the same thing. I have a flow that has been running daily for months now and now errors as of 2026-05-17. Passing in body/id from "Get file metadata using path" to "List files in folder" now errors, where previously was the idiomatic way to receive correct output from "List files in folder". It seems as though there has been an undocumented change or regression to the ListFolderV2 onedriveforbusiness connector.

    E.g., inputs to "List files in folder" with following format now does not work:
    {
        "host": {
            "connectionReferenceName": "shared_onedriveforbusiness",
            "operationId": "ListFolderV2"
        },
        "parameters": {
            "id": "b!<rest of valid id from 'Get file metadata using path'>"
        }
    }

    What is the new idiomatic way to pass a folder to "List files in folder" (ListFolderV2) for the onderiveforbusiness connector?

    Same for me. Tried removing and adding the same node again without success, folder selected directly from the picker (if not the error code would be different like "Invalid fileId clientRequestId"). This bug raised two days ago without communication by Microsoft, tomorrow is monday and my customer won't be happy. Fortunately, contractually we are indemnified against bugs introduced by Microsoft. Hope will be solved soon.

    I chose it directly.  I am using is in many many other flows.  I just created this short one to test.

    I am getting the same thing for all my existing flows, it breaks a lot of my automations. I have tried choosing the folder again, changing the connection used, recreating the action, creating the action in a new flow, the action appears to just be broken.

    Having the same exact issue! I've been using the same OneDrive "List Files In Folder" for over a year on multiple flows pulling from various folder locations. All suddenly failing (without user modification) as of 5/15/26.

    Error: ResponseSwaggerSchemaValidationFailure.
    Action 'List_files_in_folder' failed: The API 'onedriveforbusiness' returned an invalid response for workflow operation 'List_files_in_folder' of type 'OpenApiConnection'. Error details: 'The API operation 'ListFolderV2' requires the property 'body' to be of type 'Object' but is of type 'Array'.'

    I've tried re-adding the action, reconnecting the linked account, changing folders, etc. For a temp fix, I replaced the action with a Dropbox version but not ideal for my workflow.

    Thought maybe I would need to play with the Pagination or something to expand the search results (although some of these folders only have 3-4 files) but no luck. Maybe a Microsoft bug?

    Same here, I tried to "Get file from metadata using path" and replace the path into "ID", still getting the same error.

    This flow run for a year and no errors before.

    Just happened in these weekend.

    Same here, look forward for help. Tried reconnect, create new connection, anything I can......

    I agree, I have the same problem. Everything worked fine for several years, and then, starting Saturday, May 16th, this error started popping up. I've tried deleting and re-creating connections, I've tried re-selecting the folder path, but nothing helps. It's definitely a Microsoft bug, they updated something again and everything broke.

    Is there a fix pending for this issue? It has disrupted flow, that we use daily...

    Does anyone have workaround?
