Power Automate flow ownership transfer - specific example

Hi,

I have a TEAMs team with several channels.

1 channel is used for notifications from Power Automate workflow (when a form is submitted, the Notifications channel gets the respnoses). A separate channel contains the PA flow and the 3rd channel contains the form.

These are the elements of my task: 1 group form, shared Power Automate flow ( I shared it with TEAMs team, I shared it with the teams email address).

When notifications channel receives replies, it looks like this:

My concern is: if Anna Zheleznyak leaves the company, what would be displayed in place of the name Anna Zheleznyak in the screenshot?

Thank you!

    @annabzheleznyak ,

    For an automated flow which will send messages or emails etc., the best approach is to create a service account and use it to create flows. If you are administrator, you can

    1. export this flow

    2. create the account and assign licenses, login Power Automate using that account

    3. import the flow package.

    Thank you for your reply!

    Before I dive deep into creating Service Account, what if I add a co-owner to the flow, what name will appear in my previous screenshot in place of Anna Zheleznyak? I cannot test it because my account is active.

    1 - Will the flow still work if Anna leaves the company?

    2 - Whose name will be displayed in place of Anna Zheleznyak in the previous screenshot?

    @annabzheleznyak

    The displayed name is not that of the owner, but rather the person whose credentials are being utilized for the connection.

    Normally, the flow connection adopts the user's context who creates the flow, which is why the owner's name is shown. However, if the owner departs, the connection will require reconfiguration as their login will be deactivated.

    To avoid complications, switch to using a service account.

    Hello and thank you again for your help!

    Another nuance/question: if the owner of a flow leaves the company, can M365 administrator restore the flow and assign to another owner? In this case there is no service Account.
