Alternatives to Azure Key Vault - Free Connectors

So I have an API key that I need to get securely. I originally had Azure Key Vault but that is a premium connector which I cannot roll out across the organisation for wider usage. Is there a free way to grab API keys?

You can use Environment Variables in Power Platform and also secure the inputs and output of the Power Automate actions.

In Power Automate, securing inputs and outputs is essential to prevent sensitive data from being exposed, especially when dealing with API keys, passwords, or any personal information.

That does work, although this is highly insecure as the API key would be revealed during editing the flow.

True but unfortunately, Microsoft does not provide an free (non premium) alternative way. You can submit an idea though https://ideas.powerautomate.com/d365community/forum/086dd68e-597f-ec11-8d21-0022482e8f9f
