Delay Sending of email (without delay activity)

Hey forum!

I have a flow that is sending out emails to users and I need to delay the sending until Now + 5mins. Since it is possible to schedule an email in Outlook, I was wondering if and how it could be done in Power Automate. I do not want to use a 'Delay activity', because it would mean that the flows execution time increases dramatically.

Happy to get suggestions!

Kind regards
Felix

    Hi @FelixRech,

no, all things around a shared mailbox are to make the flow tenant-wide.

I've just tried to say that DelayOutOfHoursEmails flow implements the deferred delivery feature.

    Thank you for the reply.

I was hoping there was a way that does not alter the settings in Outlook in any way. As I understand the link you send, I would at least have to create new Shared mailbox, which I would preferably avoid.

    Are there any other options/ideas?

    Hi @FelixRech ,

you can do that only using MS GRAPH request.  And no, I do not want to provide the details here, sorry.

I just inform you that's possible in PowerAutomate.
