Link to File Broken Using AbsoluteUri in Start and Wait for an Approval

All,

What is the best way to get full url links to files to appear when using the Start and wait for an approval.

I’ve tried the following but what happens is that when using the AbsoluteUri is if the file has spaces in it then the FullURL to the file in the Start and wait for an approval doesn’t appear it shows as broken example:

[Space Engineering Drawing Standards.docx] (https://myurl.sharepoint.com/sites/Tools/Lists/Dashboard/Attachments/160/Space Engineering Drawing Standards.docx)

    Hi @koneill2020 ,

    Do you want:
    1. When the file is uploaded, create a link
    2. Send the link to the approver, the approver can view the file?

    Here is a test for your reference:

    Link Type can control whether the judge can edit and view, or only edit
    Link Scope can be shared with people outside the organization

    Many thanks - this would work I think if I was just using a document library but I'm using a list as my first action in my Power Automate is:

    so, the Create Sharing link is not available for use with a list.

    All I'm trying to do is in the Start and Wait for an Approver is to have the links to any attachment list items available for the end users to click and view the items.

    HI @koneill2020 ,

    I think I figured it out,

    vchengfenmsft_0-1670996921178.png

    we need to replace the spaces in the filename with %20. so that it can be displayed as a URL

    Please try

    replace(item()?['AbsoluteUri'],' ','%20')

    Please be aware that if your file name contains the # character, that also needs to be escaped for the link to work.

    So I'd suggest an adjusted formula to cater for more situations:

    replace(replace(
    item()?['AbsoluteUri'], ' ','%20'), '#', '%23')

    Best Regards
