I want to use the patch function to update a record all the while creating a new row. My data table (source) has multiple columns, and I would like to be able to update one of the fields and create a new record with the updated field's data. The code should tell the app to copy data from the other fields in the newly created record.
Sounds good - you would do two patch operations. What have you tried and where are you stuck?
