    Hi,
Flows are stored in OneDrive for Microsoft account, and in Dataverse for Work or school account.

    Hi @johnbor

Yes PAD flows are stored on OneDrive or Dataverse depending on which account you are using.

But you cannot use these physical files to back them up.

In the Cloud Flows portal you can create a zip file in the Solutions section. This zip file can also be emailed or stored on your disk as a physical copy.

Or in the PAD Flows Console there is a create a copy option which can make use of. This copy will be created within the same environment.

Im only using the Free Desktop version with no connection to one drive or online, I would think its in the same folder as the program C:\Program Files (x86)\ powerautomate   ?????

Flows are always stored in the cloud(OneDrive or Dataverse), therefore an active connection to the Internet is required to use Power Automate for desktop. However, the cache file created when the flow is executed is in local drive.
    (e.g. %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Power Automate Desktop\Console\Workspace\)

No matter which folder it is, either local or on OneDrive, but you won't be able to do anything with those files like backup etc.

Does that apply to cloud flows that are run on the web application? Or just flows executed from a desktop?

    Hi,
Only flows executed from the desktop.
