Domain name issues in machine group

i have created 2 new VM in Azure portal.

hostname:
vmpoc2
vmpoc3

username is same for both vm. Both machines are added to Machine group .

But while creating connection in Run desktop flow, it is allowing only one domain name which is the hostname .This is causing bot to only run in one machine. How to fix this issue? How to make domain name same for both the VM?

whoami command returns this:
vmpoc2/userid1
vmpoc3/userid1
I have the same question (0)

Do you mean you didn't 'Login with Microsoft Entra ID'  when you created VMs?
If so, you can try to refer this article :
Add your existing Windows device to a work or school  network.

    Or use intune ;

    Hi, Thanks for your reply.

I selected Entra ID checkbox while creating VM.

    You can try that link.
Have you tried to logon the VM with AAD account ? for example userid1@yourdomain.com

yes, i tried login using email id " USERID1@XXX.onmicrosoft.com" but it is saying incorrect password though it is correct.

    i tried this format AzureAD\YourName@EntraIDDomain.Com.

Even disabled Network level authentication and also updated the RDP file also but still RDP to the machine is not working with entra id.

Added userid with this command as well :

net localgroup "Remote Desktop Users" /add "AzureAD\username@domain.onmicrosoft.com"

I think it might be the access settings, but it's beyond the community's topic, and my ability.
When you click 'Ask a question', tag Azure, then tag 'Azure Virtual Machines'.
    Good Luck.
