Set timeout value for entire Power Automate Desktop action

Is there a way to set a timeout value for an entire Desktop flow?  I call the flow from Power Automate and I had a situation where the Desktop flow hung on a specific step and I wondered if I could just set an overall timeout for the flow.  I tried setting an Action Timeout value in Power Automate, but seemingly no matter what I enter, I got an error message.  Here, I tried to set the timeout to 30 minutes.

Ukiman1014_0-1704383845847.png

"Flow save failed with code 'WorkflowRunActionTimeoutLimitInvalid' and message 'The template action 'Run_Property_Violations_Monthly_Rollover' and 'limit' property has a 'timeout' property of '910.00:00:00' which is greater than the workflow lifetime property of '30.00:00:00'.'."

Again, this is in Power Automate.  Is there a better way to set a timeout for an entire Desktop flow?

"P30M" is 30 months. You need to use "PT30M" to indicate 30 minutes.

The default timeout is 30 days, which activates if you don't set any custom timeout. And that is pretty much the only way to control it, really. PAD itself does not have a global timeout functionality. It can only do timeouts on specific actions.

    Hi @Ukiman1014

for setting timeout in desktop flow, you can use an configuration file which stores details which needs to be configured based on environment like below

Then in action timeout section, you can specify the data based on configuration key.

Thank you.  The article I had found didn't mention the "T".
