Send email with options who confirmed

I have a step within a condition to send an email with options.  I'd like to later update my SharePoint item based on who selects "completed" on the email (as this email can be forwarded to another recipient).  I don't see a dynamic option to get the user's Display name from the "Send email with options" step so I tried to get user user profile using the useremailaddress from the Send email with options, but that results show blank.    I also tried a variable, but since it's within a condition it has to be top level.  Any thoughts on this?

    Can I see dynamic content of User (UPN) field?

    And output of "Get user profile (V2)" action.

    And what returns "Get user profile (V2)"?

    I hit complete on the email but it doesn't capture the user's (my email address)

    {"host":{"apiId":"subscriptions/b1b36c61-d929-4258-8ace-6d31523e9820/providers/Microsoft.Web/locations/westus/runtimes/msmanaged-na/apis/office365users","connectionReferenceName":"shared_office365users","operationId":"UserProfile_V2"},"parameters":{"id":null}}

    With this error message:

    The 'inputs.parameters' of workflow operation 'Get_user_profile_(V2)' of type 'OpenApiConnection' is not valid. Error details: The resolved string values for the following parameters are invalid, they may not be null or empty: 'id'

    User (UPN) field value is null or empty when you run the flow. Try to detect why.

    Hi @joel914823
    Are you clicking on the html buttons within the email? I was having the same issue you described when using the html version of 'send an email with options', but if I use the buttons in the message card I was able to get the user response and the user details.

    I raised a ticket with Microsoft and they say this is by design. So if you use the html version of the send email with options, you will only get the user's response and none of the user's details.

    To check what information is available after the user clicks on the button, you can add a 'Compose' action and select the body of the 'Send email with options' step as the input. E.g.
