Categorize sent messages

Hello,

this seems to have been asked several times before but maybe not for my special use case.

I want to achieve that all sent emails are flagged with a category "sent". This cannot be done via Outlook rules as those only apply to the inbox. Unfortunately there is no option to use "category" as an action to an email in Power Automate directly. As far as I have read, this needs to be done with Microsoft Graph.

I tried that with two consecutive HTTP-Requests, where the first calls for all messages in through graph (which seems to work). Regarding the secon request I have tried

which doesn't work. I am not familiar with JSON and don't really know what I do here. Unfortunately, I dont't have the time to get into this topic much further. I only need what I just described.

If there is another way to achieve this - great, please tell me.

One thing to clariy: You could object that I could to this manually. This is not an option as messages get moved away from the outbox. A search folder in the desktop app of Outlook is not a good option, too. A pity, that you have many options with the desktop client you don't have in the web, regarding rules and search folders.

You forgot to add the message ID after  .../messages in the URL.

You can patch only a single message.

Thank you for the example. This should be fine. I can do this to max. 25 messages (newest) and I will not need more.
