Scenario
Each day I refresh 216 folders containing multiple files from a Github respository. These files are stored on my C Drive.
I then copy these files into Teams into a fresh folder so other team members have access to the updated files. The previous days folder on Teams is then deleted.
Problem
If I copy this files in bulk then I get loads of errors as SharePoint/Teams cannot cope with copying this amount of folders and lots of files do not get copied over, therefore I have to manually copy these folders in batches of approx 20 folders. This is very time-consuming, especially as it is a daily process.
I would like to automate as much of this process if possible.
Questions
Can Power Automate move files from the C Drive as I could not see any options other than One Drive folders?
Can Power Automate copy in batches or would I just be replicating the same problem of manually copying in bulk?
Would a macro be a better bet?
I have only used Power Automate a little to move updated files from a Teams folder to a SharePoint folder so I am quite a novice, but I have more experience on macros, but I would welcome some guidance as to whether this is possible in Power Automate and how to get started as I would prefer to start using the newer technology if possible.
Many thanks
