Complete Outlook Task then complete Planner Task

I have tried this, but it did not work:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Flow-Discussion/Completing-Outlook-task-then-completes-planner-task/m-p/81004#M10568

I want to mark an Outlook Task as complete and then update the status as completed in Planner.

I have tried this Flow:

When a task is completed (Outlook Task) -> Update a task (Planner).

However, it did not work.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @  NiclasM,

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

What is the problem you meet when the flow runs? Will the trigger "when a task is completed (Outlook Task)" run?

I have made a test on my side and have created a flow as below:

    Capture.PNG

However, when I set the task is completed, the trigger wouldn't be fired in the flow.

Do you have the same issue as me?

I would post this issue to my product team. If the issue is solved, I would reply here.

    Regards,
    Alice Zhang

    Hi Alice,

    Thank you for your reply.

Well I have the same flow, however, I have tried to use "ID" instead, so that it is dynamic. I believe the example that you provide, will only close that specific task?

It seems like I cannot get my snippet tool to show the image here?

However, yes, I have the same issue as you that the "Update a task" is not being completed after I mark a task a completed in Outlook.
