I have a flow that is supposed to share an app with a user within a certain environment.

The following step, fails with the message:

The user with object id 'f9xxxxx8' in environment '699xxxx' misses required privilege(s): 'prvShareCanvasApp'.

I own this flow, and my role in this environment is System Administrator.

What am I supposed to do to solve this?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @WebPortal

    Has the user you're sharing the app with "Environment Reader" permissions on that environment and a valid license?

    Hope it helps!

    Hi @fchopo

    The user has access to the environment, but I don't see any "Environment Reader" role.

    Is this a custom role that must be created?

    I tried assigning the role "Basic User" to this user, but the error persists.

    @fchopo

    The user object id in the error message is referring to the user who runs the flow.

    This is an instant flow, triggered by Power Apps, so I guess it is the user running the flow that must have some short of "Share Apps" privilege..

    You are right! The user running the Power App is the one that also triggers the workflow, so he/she should have any of those privileges.

    There's also an interesting thread here about tenant's cache: Anyone Suddenly Missing the "prvShareCanvasApp" Permission? Or Can't Share Apps? : r/PowerApps (reddit.com)

    Hope that helps!
