SAP ERP connector - Cannot find RFC nor run SO_DOCUMENT_READ_API1

Hello there,

I've managed to configure all the necessary settings for running SAP ERP connector and tested it with couple of RFCs  that worked.

However, for my usecase I need to test these 2 function modules:

  1. BDS_GOS_CONNECTIONS_GET

  2. SO_DOCUMENT_READ_API1

As far as I seen, for the first one (BDS_GOS_CONNECTIONS_GET) the tool does not consider it a RFC (¿?):

And for the second one (SO_DOCUMENT_READ_API1) the cloud flow is running for a while till it fails with InternalServerError...

I have tried both v2 and v3 versions of Call SAP function and nothing. Also, I've tested it on my own in SE80 and they work perfectly.

Any idea how can I invoke these? It's being a hell of a ride making this work with SAP ERP connector....

Thanks a lot!

@ksoze92 check that BDS_GOS_CONNECTIONS_GET is "Remote-Enabled" by logging into SAP and viewing TCODE 37.

I think the SO_DOCUMENT_READ_API1 issue is something we have recently seen (and will need to fix) but haven't been able to reproduce the issue.

Thanks a lot for the response! Two questions regarding your response:

    1) Do I need to restart the SAP server once I enable "Remote Enabled Module"?

    2) This issue with SO_DOCUMENT_READ_API1...will it be fixed in the short term? I am having conversations about how to download attachments from SAP ERP and my nº1 to-go is using this connector (over using Power Automate Desktop). However, if this is not going to be fixed in the short term I may need to switch!

Wish you a great day, and thanks again!

    1) I'm not sure. Is there an internal SAP Basis admin you can consult? If you think you should be seeing the function show up in Power Automate, you can also try restarting the on-premises data gateway service.

    2) No timeline that I can share at the moment.
