Hi All,
I have a request for a recurring flow that will remind team members on Microsoft Teams to log their payroll hours. The problem is, our company gets paid twice a month, not every two weeks, so the dates do not align with the set recurrences in Power Automate. To give some details; we enter our time on the 15th or the 30th (31st) of every month, but if those dates fall on a weekend, we are prompted to enter our time on the Friday before those dates, so not on the weekends. Here is the list of dates:
I know I would need to code this in, I'm just not sure exactly how to do it. I would also be fine with doing two separate recurring flows if needed. The last piece of the flow is to have it send a Teams message to the team. Problem is, I'm not a member of the team, so I'm guessing I will need to get the Teams ID from the manager and set it up that way, but I have never set up a flow like this before, so again, I am unsure.
Any help would be wonderful if anyone can give me any pieces of this puzzle! Thanks in advance!
