Recurrence (Schedule) trigger - When manually run by a logged in user - Get the logged in user name

I have simple Recurrence Trigger flow which runs desktop flow using Directly to VM connection.

Sometime, I would like to run this flow manually by shared users. I would like to get the name of the user who run the Recurrence flow manually. I used "Get my profile (V2)" step to get the current logged in user to power automate who run the flow manually. However, when checked in history of the run, it always shows my name on it instead of the user (my team member) who logged into the PA and kick the run.

Please suggest the solution. Appreciate your help in advance.

    Hi @solankipratik74 ,

Recurrence flow runs on the context of the owner of the flow (one who created the flow)

So I doubt that you will get any detail of the user who has rum this flow.

    Thanks

    Thanks for your reply.

Is there any workaround to get the logged username?

I am just avoiding to have two flows, however if no solution then I will create new Manual flow along with the Recurrence. It would be good though Microsoft has a step which can get the logged in user details.

    Hi @solankipratik74 ,

There is no other way to get the logged in user details unless you have manual trigger flow.

    Thanks
