Hi!

I'm building a Helpdesk powerapp, with Sharepont list as a source.

When I fill new form, it create a record on Sharepoint list well, but when I try to update the info without overwriting previus info, i don't know how to it in a form.

How to update items on the same row twice in the Sharepoint list? When the second update, it just adds the information instead of overwriting the first update? For example to update a second image or add text info?

Regards!

    Hi @Fnavarro,

Do you want to update an existing record in the form?

You just need to add a Gallery and populate it with your data source, once you click an item in the Gallery, it will navigate you to the edit form where you could overwrite the item.

1). Add a Gallery and set the Items property as below:

    ListName

2). Set the onSelect property of the gallery as below:

    Navigate(EditForm1)

3). Set the Item property of the edit form as below:

    Gallery1.Selected

    Hi!

Thank you for the answer, but this solution don't work for me.

If I do that, the record on Sharepoint list is overwritten.
I want to Add info to row which already have information.
    Real case:
User send a ticket with a image, after few days they want to add a new image.
If the use the form in edit form, they will overwrite the first photo, what I need is to add the 2 image without lose the first.
    Regards

    Hi @Fnavarro,

Could you please tell me which column type you used to save the second image, Image column type?

If it is an image column type, I am afaraid that there is no way to achieve this becauser this column type only allows single image only. To add extra info to the Text column, you could just enter behind the original content.

You are right is a image column.

But, I have a text column, which only save text with the same issue.
    Flow:
New form > write on text column > submit form > row created with info
Galleryselected > Edit form > Write in the same field > overwritten

    Hi @Fnavarro,

Not sure how you input within the TextInput, however once you select an item in the Gallery, it will navigate you to an eidt form where you just need to input directly behind the previous input rather than clear the Textinput and overwrite.

I got it now, buuut is not what it should be

We are talking about ticketing helpdesk tool, then if user send and update it will create a record on column "user update" that it's fine.
But, if they want to update later they see this, and what it happens is, people delete the previous record.
There is a way to keep Update 1 > get text box clear for them > keep update 1 +update 2 in this way?

I want to keep on this way
