Common Data Service import excel error

(0) ShareShare

"Required field(s) of entity not mapped"

Click Show Mapping

Only row:

AccountID, Field value will be auto-generated

Cannot change anything. Can save but nothing happens. Still error. Still cannot import.

I used Import funktion on entity Account (standard entity).

Import-excel was created by Template export funktion.

Import-excel contains all required fields and correct value in all.

Why can I not import any data?

    Hi @EmmaR,

    1. Make sure that you have gone through documentation below:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/data-platform-export-data

    2. Try to create the Excel Template using the web-interface, export template and copied the data into correct Excel Table format.

    Regards,

    Mona

I have done both 1 and 2. I tested again today and it still wont let me import.
It sais required fields of entity not mapped, but when I click on Show mapping only AccountId is present, and it is set to autofill.

I have tried a test import document with only the required fields.
I have tried a test import document with only the required fields + Account ID (but left empty)
I have tried a test import document with every field on the entity, but only with data in the required fields

All import files mentioned are Excel Templates that where created through the import template funktion (in PowerApps). I entered data into the Excel Table format.

    None work.

    @CWesener, @v-monli-msft

    Please help.

I have followed the instruktions and tried many different ways (e.g. with all fields, with only required fields, with required fields + empty AccountID field). I still get "Required fields on entity not mapped" and I cannot fix it in Show mapping.
Also tried renaming headings to a,b,c etc. Got this:

Tried Open and Work in excel.
Entered a row of data (only required fields)
    Clicked publish. Got following Errors:

    • An error occurred while retrieving the row count of entity Account. Error details: User Emma.Rudstam@xlent.se is not authorized to read view RTSAccount. Request denied

This must be the reason. Will investigate. See if I can fix it.

By creating an environment, i can import (publish) with "Open in excel"

My default environment was the problem.
