Hello,

is there an option to create a automatic flow approval for specific users?

In my lists we are 10 people, but only 3 of them need this function.

Thanks.

    Hi there,

I don't think so, but two options as workarounds come to mind.

    1) Create a condition where if it's one of the three users, you by-pass the approval task completely and just log an approval manually.

or, if you need that approval formally logged,

    2) Create a condition where if it's one of the three users, you go to a secondary approval where the Timeout (in Settings) is set to something like PT4M to time out in 4 minutes, or whatever.

Thank you for your suggested solution.

What does the first point look like in practice?

For now my flow looks like this:

When an item is created -> approval function -> condition -> yes: E-Mail notification no: E-Mail + delete the item

I hope this is helpful for you. Thanks 🙂

    Hi there,

I was thinking the first concept would look something like this:

    Rhiassuring_0-1653464030992.png

    Rhiassuring_1-1653464064462.png

This way, if it's a Reject, the flow ends - if it's an Approve OR a skip (ie, one of the 3 people), it goes to a single email action.

Thank you. Which item do you have set in the first condition with the 3 peoples? "Created....?"

The steps before the condition are right?

In my example, I used Created By DisplayName - thinking that you would then use the names of the 3 individuals in the "is equal to" fields.
